Shinko (Nobuyuki) Suzuki is a
performer of Japanese traditional music based in Leiden, the Netherlands. He specializes in two types of Japanese flutes: the Shinobue and the Nohkan. He
studied the Shinobue under Yoshihiro Karino. He performs a wide range of music, from classical pieces such as folk songs, Nagauta, and Nohgaku to modern pop songs. He has performed at the
Japanese ambassador’s residence in the Netherlands, Van Gogh Museum, Museum Volkenkunde, and various cultural events in the Netherlands. Outside Europe, he performed at Buddhapāda Institute in
Kalimpong, India, Japamura Gamers8 and Riyadh Season in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and the Japanese Ambassador's residence in Cairo, Egypt, and continues to spread his music to the world.
